GNHC

2008 Greater Nebraska Horse Show Circuit. Open to all 'Greater Nebraska' 4-H Members Enrolled in the 4-H Horse Project.

Membership forms available at your local County Extension Office or at a participating horse show. (Participant's Points will not accrue until the membership is paid.) Downloadable GNHC Registration Form

Membership fees - $20 per 4-H member if paid by June 1, 2008 (After June 1st, membership fee will increase to $30 per member). Membership will include a ticket for the participant to the Year-End Awards Banquet.

2008 GNHC Results


    Age Divisions: (Age determined as of January 1, 2008)
  • Division I - Ages 8 through 11
  • Division II - Ages 12 through 14
  • Division III - Ages 15 & up

2008 4-H Enrollment and Pink 4-H Horse I.D. Sheets required and must be available upon request from the 4-H member at each circuit show.

    Year End Awards in Each Age Group for the following classes:
  • Showmanship
  • Western Pleasure
  • Western Horsemanship
  • Trail
  • Reining
  • Pole Bending
  • Barrels
  • English Pleasure
  • English Equitation

Awards for Overall Champion and Reserve in Each Age Group! Year End Awards to Include Western Apparel & Tack.

** Points will be awarded to the members according to their placing in each class at participating Horse Circuit Shows.
** The total score will be based upon the points accumulated by the participant in a predetermined number of participating shows, which will not exceed 75% of the total number of circuit shows.
** 30 additional points will be awarded (one time) to the All-Around Score for participating in an approved educational event.
